World Mission Work in The Phillipines

Sandy Seckendorf is traveling  on a mission trip to the Phillipines in June 2017.  She, along with her daughter and granddaughter will be visiting a school and an orphanage outside of Manilla with Kids International Ministries. They are a non-government organization that provides food, shelter, education, and medical attention to at-risk children in indigent communities.

If you would like to make a financial contribution you can mail them to: Lester Memorial United Methodist Church PO Box 626, Oneonta, AL, 35121. You can also use the brown envelopes in the church pews and note “Mission” on it. All donations will be acknowledged with a letter to use for your tax returns.

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod has been involved in mission and outreach since 1851, when it established its first mission board.

Today, the LCMS trains, sends and supports called and appointed career, long-term and short-term missionaries in various countries around the world where there are mission stations, partner churches, schools or mission relationships.

There are more than 200 opportunities available to serve with the LCMS, ranging from one week to a lifetime. Visit http://www.lcms.org/missionaries
